All purchases of The Hairy Pill® treatment are final. This is because our products are personalised medications unique to the patient at hand, so once they are packaged for you they cannot be used for another patient. Our pharmacy's regulations prohibit the return of prescription medications for reimbursement. This means that we are unable to accept returns of treatment for refunds, even if it is unused.
In accordance to Australian law, pharmaceutical medication cannot be returned for credit or refund, except when it is a condition of a consumer-level medication recall. Strict legislative controls are in place to regulate the storage of medicines in the pharmacy environments. Once medication has left the pharmacy, the storage conditions of the medication cannot be guaranteed and it is possible the product could be tampered with. Therefore, we cannot accept return of any dispensed pharmaceutical products. Furthermore, as the compound is made for each individual, once bottled, it can’t be sold to anyone else.
Like any prescription you would get from a pharmacy (e.g. antibiotics), you cannot return once it leaves the pharmacy.
We do offer full refunds; however, they are offered in the following instances:
- Change of mind; after the initial purchase, before pharmacy counsel
- After pharmacy counsel, before the product is compounded and dispatched
- Non-approved cases following initial doctor assessment
- Cancellation of subscription, before the product is compounded and dispatched
